Dear Parents and Guardians,
As the holiday season approaches, we are reminded of the importance of community and caring for those in need. GCVI staff, students and families are supporting our community through several impactful initiatives including:
The Shoebox Project: supporting women experiencing or at-risk-of homelessness
Hope for the Holidays: Supporting children through the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA). Homeroom classes are raising funds to buy gifts for children this season.
The Holiday Gift Box Drive: A group of IB students have organized a drive to support youth at the Grove Hubs and Wyndham House.
Adopt-a-Family: A program through the Children’s Foundation of Guelph supporting families including many of our own.
Many of you have supported these initiatives and we thank you for your generosity and for making a difference this season.
