A 5 week intensive French course for students who have their grade 11 French credit. Offered in different locations across Canada

ISE International Student Exchange

3 month reciprocal exchange programs in Germany, Italy, Spain, France, and Switzerland. Individual summer exchanges available.

CEEF – Canadian Education Exchange Foundation

CEEF offers a school-based exchange program for students ages 14-17. 3 months abroad and 3 months hosting.

Summer Work

Student Exchange

A 6 week program finds jobs for students 16 – 17 in a federal riding in another province. Students live with a host family, share, learn and grow with their local student partner. Organized by the YMCA.

Awards

The Ella Sinclair Memorial Award – Presented to an outstanding language student who is continuing studies in the field at a Canadian University.

The Howard D. Hanson Memorial Scholarship – This scholarship is awarded annually to a graduating student who is conscientious, diligent and gentle of nature. The recipient must have a love of languages and different cultures. Post secondary placement must include language studies.
