Ignite is meeting today at lunch in room 216. We’ll be gathering to watch episodes of The Chosen, a powerful series that brings the stories of the Bible to life.

Music

Reminder that there is a Jr Band practice today at lunch in the music room. New members are always welcome.

Football

The Football team faced the defending Champs, BMAC last Friday in what turned out to be a very physical game. Rune Bourqe scored GC's first touchdown on a throw from Elliot Duncan. Milo Hastings and Nolan Mifsid led the defense.  The Gaels take on OLOLs this Thursday at 4pm at Alumni Stadium with the neighbourhood bragging rights on the line.  We hope to see you there.

Electric Vehicle Club

This past weekend the GCVI Electric Vehicle Team raced at the University of Waterloo in their fall EV race. Drivers Liam Beacock and Riley Zammit raced an hour and together completed 65 laps and clinched a 3rd place podium. The whole team and pit crew worked so hard to make that podium finish happen. Way to go Gaels!

Are you interested in joining the electric vehicle team? This Thursday the 10th we will be having an information meeting to go over how applications for the team will work, what our team does and our overall goals for this year. We meet every Thursday from now till our May race, all are welcome to check it out and apply regardless of your skills and abilities.
