Dufferin students to connect with local employers at youth employment fair

SHELBURNE, Ontario – An event that brings together students and local employers is coming to Dufferin County.

On Tuesday May 7, students in Dufferin County will have the chance to explore job opportunities at the Youth Employment Opportunity Fair.

The event is an opportunity for students in grades 11 and 12 who are seeking full and part time jobs after graduation from high school. Students will have the opportunity to connect with more than 60 local employers representing sectors such as manufacturing, construction, hospitality, retail, landscaping and more.

• LOCATION: Centre Dufferin Recreation Complex, 200 Fiddle Park Lane, Shelburne

The event is presented by the Town of Shelburne, Upper Grand District School Board, UGDSB’s Specialist High Skills Major program, Georgian College, and the Career Education Council.
