Policy Statement
The Upper Grand District School Board (UGDSB) recognizes the value and importance of research in the field of education. The UGDSB shall establish a research agenda for each school year, identifying key research areas that reflect the board’s goals as set out in the Multi-Year Plan. Priority will be given to proposals that align with the board’s research agenda.
External individuals or organizations proposing to conduct research that will involve UGDSB staff, students, parents/guardians, and/or school communities, are invited to submit an application for approval, in accordance with the terms and conditions outlined in this policy and the accompanying procedures and appendices.
