All grade 9 students in math (MTH1W) will write the Grade 9 EQAO Assessment.
When:
Friday, January 17th (Session A) and Monday, January 20 (Session B), during math class
Details
Two sessions, each designed to take 60 minutes and done within class time.
- Extra time can be provided as needed - note that period 4 math students who take extra time may need a ride home if they normally take a bus)
- Online assessment with a total of 54 questions (50 questions determine the student’s outcome and four are field-test questions)
- Test adapts to individual student performances as they progress through
- All classes will do a practice assessment to become familiar with the types of questions and the online interface
EQAO assessment counts as 10% of each student’s final mark in the grade 9 de streamed math course
