On Wednesday November 6th, students can participate by taking part in activities and events organized and hosted by their parent’s employer or the employer of a relative, friend or community host.
Please sign and return the attached Parental Consent Form (which can be found at the link below or your student will be bringing home a hard copy) indicating your intention to have your child participate in this day or whether they will be attending regular school programming (which may include career exploration programming & activities).
Please note, if your child chooses not to participate in TKWD, they are expected to attend school as usual. If a student is not participating in the program and/or has not returned a signed parental consent, and is not in attendance at school, they will be marked absent from school and you will receive an automated evening call for the student as per school procedure.
