A student at John F. Ross CVI was awarded a full scholarship to the University of Guelph-Humber this month.
Isobel Price was one of 10 students across the country to receive the Founders' Academic Merit Scholarship, which is worth a total of $36,000.
The scholarship “recognizes academic achievement, leadership and extracurricular activities” and covers four years of full-time study.
To be eligible for the scholarship, students must:
Be entering post-secondary studies for the first time as a full-time student.
Be entering any degree program offered by the University of Guelph-Humber.
Have a minimum admission average of 90% (inclusive of subject requirements) based on grades submitted.
Must have demonstrated significant leadership achievements through participation in school and/or community activities.
Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
