New Centre Wellington ES Boundary Review – Final Decision

At the February 25, 2025, Board Meeting, UGDSB Trustees voted to approve Boundary Option 3 as the attendance boundary for the New Centre Wellington Elementary School.

Option 3 includes the North Fergus DA and east across Beatty Line (including subdivision north of Side Road 18). Full report can be found on the Boundary Review webpage.

The following motions were passed:

That the Board approves:

1. Option 3 as the attendance area boundary for the new Centre Wellington ES as described in Section 5 in the report attached to memo PLN: 25-04 “New Centre Wellington ES Boundary Review – Report 4 – Final Recommendation Report, effective September 2025.

2. The attendance area boundary maps which implement Option 3, as follows:

   1. The JK-8 Regular Track (RT) attendance area boundary for the new Centre Wellington ES as outlined on Map 1 of Appendix A.

   2. The JK-6 RT attendance area boundary for Salem PS as outlined on Map 2 of Appendix A.

   3. The JK-5 RT attendance area boundary for Elora PS as outlined on Map 3 of Appendix A.

   4. The Grade 6 RT attendance area boundary for Elora PS as outlined on Map 4 of Appendix A.

3. The Grade 7 & 8 RT attendance area boundary for Elora PS as outlined on Map 5 of Appendix A.
