Get ready to say "Thank You for the Music"! On Friday, January 24, 2025, Guelph Collegiate Vocational Institute (GCVI) will host its third annual benefit show in support of the Donkey Sanctuary of Canada.
The event will take place in GCVI's auditorium at 7:00 PM and promises a night to remember, featuring performances of ABBA’s iconic GOLD album from start to finish. GCVI’s talented guitar and vocal classes will be joined by special guest musicians from ABBAMania, GCVI Music alumni, and The Guelph Youth Singers for a lively and nostalgic evening.
Admission is pay-what-you-can, with all proceeds going to the Donkey Sanctuary of Canada. This fundraiser is GCVI's way of giving back after two generous volunteers from the sanctuary donated guitars to the school’s music program. Over the past two benefit shows, students have raised an incredible $4,000 to support the sanctuary’s mission of caring for rescued and retired donkeys.
