As Halloween approaches, we want to ensure that it is a fun, safe, and inclusive day for everyone at Westside S.S. Students are welcome to wear costumes, but please note that costumes must align with our school’s dress code and should not include offensive or culturally insensitive elements, including stereotypes, weapons, or imitation substances. Masks may be worn as part of a costume but must not cover the entire face to allow for clear identification. Regular school rules still apply to behavior, and students are expected to contribute to a respectful environment for all. We encourage everyone to celebrate in a way that is respectful of our diverse community, and we thank families for their support in reinforcing these guidelines.
