Dear John F. Ross CVI students and families,
Early this morning, we became aware that a bomb threat was made against John F. Ross CVI.
We take all of these situations very seriously, and immediately contacted Guelph Police. Guelph Police are at the school and are currently investigating the situation.
While this has not been confirmed as a credible threat, we have decided to move to remote learning for the day. The safety and well-being of students is always my number one concern and the top concern of all our staff members.
Students and staff are to pivot to remote learning and teaching for the day, where possible. I will continue to provide you with updates as I can. Anyone who has more information about this situation is asked to contact Guelph Police.
Thank you for your continued support.
Sincerely,
Chad Warren, Principal
