Teen Brain – What you always wanted to know about the way a teenage brain functions.

UGDSB Parent Involvement Committee – A link between our parent communities and our school board. The PIC’s mandate is to increase and encourage parent engagement in our local schools which in turn improves student achievement.  Many resources for School Councils and parents are available here.

Parent Tool Kit:  Teen Edition – The Council of Ontario Directors of Education (CODE) has produced a series of resources that will help families as they guide their children in learning skills that are essential for success at school and throughout life.

Ontario Ministry of Education – Website providing background information about the education system, the Ontario curriculum and parental involvement.  It lists FAQs, links to many internet resources and publications related to school success, healthy living and specialized programs.
