Academic Courses focus on critical thinking, literary essay format, refining writing, oral presentation skills, and in-depth reading skills. Special attention will be paid to preparing for the Literacy Test.
Applied Courses focus on critical thinking, intro to essay structure, improving and refining writing skills, oral presentations, and reading for meaning. Special attention will be paid to preparing for the Literacy Test.
University Preparation Courses focus on critical reading and thinking skills, complex essay formatting, using evidence in a sophisticated manner and improving the readability of written work, effective note taking, oral presentation and collaborative development.
College Preparation Courses focus on critical thinking, building research essays and using secondary sources, improving and refining writing skills, streamlining oral presentations, and effective note taking.
Workplace Preparation Courses focus on reading, writing and speaking skills that will help students be successful in their jobs, community involvements and daily life.
