Approximately 100 Wolverine students participated in the Wellington Heights Olympics (W.H.O.) on Friday, February 28th. It was the first time that the event had been held at the school in 9 years, due to lack of snow, but this year there was certainly plenty of that to go around! The event was organized by the Athletic Council under the direction of Ms. Kosempel, Mr. McFarlane, and Mr. Drost. In teams, students participated in outdoor activities in the snow, such as curling, football, and volleyball. There was also a hot chocolate station that students eagerly enjoyed as their opportunity to take a break from the winter wind.
