November 4th marks the 20th anniversary of the official grand opening of Wellington Heights Secondary School.  On this day, 20 years ago, there was an open house, the new school plaque commemorating the opening was presented, and families and visitors were invited to tour the brand-new school building.  Wellington Heights came into existence in September 2004 for the 2004-2005 school year, after Mount Forest District High School and Arthur District High School were amalgamated.  You can check out the news article of the event from 2004 as it appeared in The Mount Forest Confederate newspaper at this link:

To commemorate this milestone, a special edition of the Wellington Heights Newsletter will be released this month.  Happy 20th Anniversary, Wellington Heights!
