We hope you had a wonderful Easter long weekend! Looks like the weather is finally starting to look like Spring. We are opening our playgrounds today and students can’t wait for recess fun! Please remind your children to wear indoor and outdoor shoes appropriate for play. No running on the structures or jumping off of them for safety.
1. Earth Day-Students will be cleaning up our school community to help get ready for Spring and respect the environment-thank you to Mrs. Clyde and her student team for leading and organizing materials and announcements to help raise awareness about the importance of reducing, reusing and recycling in our school and keeping our yard clean.
2. Kiwanis Festival - Choir Tuesday April 22nd, Band Thursday April 24th -Thanks to Mme Rafalowski for leading our school Choir and Band and teaching them musical pieces to showcase at this upcoming festival.
3. Student Vote - Friday April 25th -Thanks to M. Agro for teaching students about the importance of having a say in what matters and casting a vote for what they believe is best.
5. Grade 8 Career Exploration - Friday April 25th – Gr 8 students will be attending a trip to Center Wellington to learn about career options and pathways

7. Save the date May 29 5-7pm for our 2nd RCPS Fun Fair!-We are excited to invite you to our upcoming Fun Fair and all RCSP families are invited to attend on Thurs, May 29th from 5-7pm. Tickets and food orders will soon be on school cashonline.com for purchase. We will have our raffle baskets and ask that families once again participate by donating an item to their class theme. Items will be available for auction and fun and games for everyone! See the attached flyer and don’t miss out on this incredible fun fair! We are raising funds for a school gaga pit. Our goal is to raise $6,000 for the gaga pit and installation. See the attached poster and image of a gaga pit.
