We want to inform you of a recent update to the IB program pathway at Guelph Collegiate Vocational Institute (GCVI). Beginning this year, Grade 8 students will no longer apply for the IB preparatory program in Grade 9. Instead, they will have the opportunity to join the program directly in Grade 11 through a new entrance process, currently being developed. We will keep you updated on the new entry process as soon as possible.
Please let your students know that while they won’t apply this year, the IB program will be available to them as they approach Grade 11, and we will work hard to ensure they’re fully supported in preparing for this exciting opportunity.
