Mitchell Woods Public School is a K-8 school that opened in 1999.  Located in the northwest corner of Guelph, the school serves a rapidly growing and diverse community of over 500 students. At Mitchell Woods, we are proud of our positive school climate, supported by our excellent staff and an actively involved parent community.

Highlights of our school include:

• live video announcements (produced by students) each morning including a new green screen production set

• flat-screen TVs in every classroom

• a science and technology lab for hands-on learning in Grade 7&8

• a double-gym with stage, LED lights, and sound-system

• a fantastic music program with a full set of concert band instruments and equipment for our student rock bands

• a school library / learning commons with almost 19 000 books

• a wide range of extracurricular activities including school sports, choir, band, Eco Club, Dungeons and Dragons Club, and many more!
