There are several students at John Black Public School who have allergies to all nuts and peanut products. Many of these allergies are life-threatening. As you can understand, the best way to provide a safe environment for all students is to enlist the help of the staff, students and parents/guardians to keep peanuts and nuts out of our school.  This includes allergen alternatives, products that mimic the taste, smell, and appearance of the allergen (WOWBUTTER® used instead of peanut butter) and other possible allergens. 

This small inconvenience for some, is necessary to allow all students a safe environment.
