Profile of an UGDSB Alternative Education @CHSS Learner:

• Interested in immersive courses and enhanced certifications across a wide range of sectors

Learners must have the following prerequisites to access programming:

• Completion of Grade 9 and 10 Math credits (or a viable grade 10 Math credit recovery)

• Completion of Grade 9 and 10 English credits (or a viable grade 10 English recovery)

• Completion of one Science credit

• Completion of Grade 9 Geography and Grade 10 History

A 2 credit Cooperative Education course is required for all incoming Grade 11 students.

Applicants with paid employment in place (part-time or full time jobs) are eligible to earn Cooperative Education credits based on their continued employment.
