2024 has seen a high number of fire-related injuries and deaths in Guelph. Fire Prevention Week is from October 6th-12th, and this year’s theme is “Smoke Alarms: Make them Work for You.” Having working smoke alarms and a practiced escape plan is very important for keeping families safe. Smoke alarms give you an early warning, so you have time to safely leave your home in case of a fire.
