Happy Weekend to all of our parents! We certainly have had some beautiful days!
Here are some things that are happening at the school this week:
Pizza orders are due this Thursday October 24 . The new pizza term will begin November 1.
Thank you to all of our families who helped to raise money for the Terry Fox Foundation. So far, we have raised over $800!
A reminder that next Friday is a PD day. Teachers will be working together in the morning as a large group looking at math and mental health. In the afternoon they will be working on assessment.
Next Thursday morning, we will be having our third and final fire drill of the fall. Students are excellent and leaving the school quickly, but it is always good to practice.
A reminder to our grade three parents that your children will be writing the CCAT during the last week of October. If at all possible, please try not to book appointments or take your child out of school between October 28-31.
Our JK/SK's and grade 2's will be part of a dental screening on Monday.
The office has had a few questions about why items on School Cash are listed as "Optional". This allows for the items to be removed from a student's account at the end of each school year. Otherwise, the items will still appear the following school year and even after the student has left our school, showing as "still waiting for payment".
Enjoy your weekend!
