Parents and caregivers within the Upper Grand District School Board are invited to attend a special event to learn about, and share their experiences on, working with school councils.
Presented by the Upper Grand District School Board Parent Involvement Committee (PIC), the Inspiring Engagement with Parents & School Councils event will take place on November 25, 2024 at Centre Wellington District High School in Fergus from 5:30 - 9 p.m.
Attendees can expect to gain knowledge on fundraising financial guidelines and best practices, leading an effective school council, human rights and equity, and safe learning environments. A full agenda of the evening can be found online by clicking here.
Dinner will also be served at the event with gluten free and vegetarian options available.

The UGDSB Parent Involvement Committee works at the board level to lead parent involvement in support of student achievement and well-being. It operates as a direct link for parents to the Director of Education and the Board of Trustees.
