Good morning Arbour Vista families,

Welcome to this week's newsletter! With the weather warming up, we're eager to soak up the sunshine alongside our students. Stay tuned for updates on upcoming events and exciting happenings at our school.

School Council

The School Council is planning a Family Fun Fair on May 29th.

Rock Your Socks Day

While Friday was Rock Your Socks Day, a day to show your support for those with Down syndrome, we will continue to acknowledge and support this cause by rocking our socks on  Tuesday, March 25th. Join us as we wear our brightest, funniest socks to spread the love and show our support!

Dogs on School Property

If you bring your dog during drop off and pick up please walk them along the grassed area on the opposite side of the parking lot (rather than the sidewalk/tarmac).  There are students and adults who are not comfortable around pets. We appreciate your support with this.  These measures help us to ensure that our community members feel safe at school.

Guelph Police Presentation

Office Grant with the Guelph Police will be here April 7th to meet with students in Grade 3-5. Students in Grades 3-5 will receive a Bike Safety presentation (Gr 3-5) and Students in Gr 5 will also receive an Online Safety Presentation (Gr 5).

Bus Patrol Recruitment

On April 7th, students in Gr 4 will be invited to an information meeting with Officer Grant from the Guelph Police. There, they will learn more information about becoming a Bus Patroller. Students who ride that bus and are interested in this unique leadership experience, are encouraged to attend.
