I hope that you enjoyed the warmer days this weekend. It is hard to know what to expect of the weather these days. We continue to encourage students to come to school prepared to spend recess outdoors.

Student Safety
Student safety is always our number one priority. It is important to note that using the bus lane, before and during school is not permitted. We have a collective responsibility to ensure buses can come and go and that emergency vehicles have access to the front of the school at all times.
Stopping on the side of the street outfront of the school is also not permitted, as per the posted signage. This blocks the flow of traffic and can pose safety concerns. Please drop students off in the Kiss N’ Ride lane in the parking lot or park and walk in with your student(s). Sharing this messaging with anyone picking up or dropping off your student (s) is appreciated.
*This message does not apply to parents with pre- arranged drop off and pick up arrangements to support students with accessibility needs, or if picking up a child who is very ill.
Webinar for EQAO Math Night for Parents and Guardians

Join for a free live webinar where EQAO staff will discuss math questions that Ontario students encounter when they participate in Ontario’s large-scale assessments. These assessments are taken by all Ontario students in Grades 3, 6 and 9. During the webinar, EQAO staff will show how these math questions help assess the skills students are learning in their math classes. Staff will also share valuable insights from the past three years of assessment results, which can help parents and guardians support their children’s math learning.

École Arbour Vista is proud to announce a special collaboration with State & Main Kitchen + Bar (Guelph location only!)
Families can mention "École Arbour Vista" when dining on Wednesday, February 12th and Thursday, February 13th, and 15% of their bill (net costs, alcohol not included) will be donated back to the school. Have a little fun with your family to help us raise funds for our end of the year Family Fun Night.
