Interest & Leisure Payment and Refund Policy

  • Payment must accompany a registration.

  • Accepted forms of payment are: Visa, Mastercard, cash, cheque or debit.

  • Post-dated cheques are not accepted

  • 13% HST is applied to Interest and Leisure program registrations where applicable.

  • Fees are payable to:

    • In Dufferin: Dufferin Centre to Continuing Education

    • In North-Wellington: North Wellington Centre for Continuing Education

    • In Guelph: Wellington Centre for Continuing Education

  • If Continuing Education must cancel an Interest and Leisure program, participants will be issued a full refund.

  • If a participant withdraws from a class or program, a $10 fee plus any classes attended will be deducted before a refund is issued. 

  • Refunds are not issued for one-night courses.

  • Supply fees that may be included in the cost of a course are non-refundable unless the course is canceled by Continuing Education.

  • Non-attendance is not considered a withdrawal from a program. Discounts, refunds or make-up classes will not be issued.

  • Every attempt will be made to reschedule classes for Inclement Weather cancellations, however, refunds will not be issued if the class is unable to be made up

  • If a participant asks for a refund that will be determined on a participant basis - reason, nature of the class etc. Please direct them to the Regional Contact. A $10 refund charge may be applied.
